The Leaf has three charging modes:

Level 1 = 120v AC which takes up to 16 hours to go from 0-100%

Level 2 = 240v AC which takes up to 8 hours to go from 0-100%

Level 3 = 440v DC which can go from 0-80% in ~27 minutes

Level 2 is probably going to be the most common. Level 3 will probably be available at the dealer and at other "commercial" locations -- they will be noted on the GPS system in the car, so you know when you are near them.

From what I hear, range anxiety goes away in about 2 weeks of driving -- you charge the car every night, so it is always full in the morning, and you *never* *have* *to* *think* about it on most days.
