Best thing they did to make it acceptable to the masses is make it look pretty good. I'm not crazy about the hood lines but overall it looks like a nice normal little car.
I'm curious to see what real world average ranges turn out to be. Really good drivers will probably beat 100mi while most people will fall well short.
A dealer charging station could be good, especially if it's out in front plainly visible to passersby to generate interest. Even better if you could park/charge and walk to the train station or office and then pick it up at the end of the day.
