If you read through all 3XX pages of this thread, you will find a video of
JackBauer testing his IGBT module power section. I think that his first tests
were using a starter motor just like you did. Check out all of the video's that
are linked in the thread and you will sometimes have to pick yourself up from the floor from laughing. You will get to see that these fellows have a sense of humor and they also show a lot of good ideas.
