I think the officer may have pulled in front, and then slowed down until the bumpers touched, and then used his brakes.

I think this is a faked incident, so whatever the officer "did", he showed up Mr. Sikes -- who probably did not want to crash...

FYI, Mr. Sikes is apparently a past president of a local Corvette owners club. The reason he gave to the 911 operator for not wanting to put it in neutral was "it would flip the car". Gimme a break (brake!).
