For my purposes, it would probably be sufficient to log only current, and just make educated guesses about voltage. But if you need more accuracy, such as if you wanted to find the optimal control scheme for a hybrid whose electric motor can't be switched off like mine, then you'd want to log voltage and perhaps current at the battery and on the U, V, W phase cables between the inverter and motor.

I'm pretty confident that the optimal scheme for my hybrid is to use assist as seldom as possible, because energy drawn from the battery has to be paid back at ~70% efficiency.
