Looking more like a car all the time
I will have a majority of the body panels on it this weekend if nothing comes up. I need to test fit the entire car before going any further so I can fix any problems that show up. I won't actually hook anything up or put all the bolts in anything so it should be quick and easy to get assembled in a few hours. From there I can make up the last of the brackets for the bumpers and fenders and I should be pretty well done. Then it is time to strip it down and weld the brackets down good and paint it all. Hopefully next weekend I can have it stripped down and the frame painted and ready to assemble the car. So maybe the end is finally in sight for this project.
Also that one jackstand in the front and 2 on the back bumper are holding the entire car up. I can get in the middle and jump on it and there is absolutely no give to it. It is surprising how strong this thing is compared to the way they are stock. It is just totally stiff with no flex anywhere in the whole thing.
