"Cruiser skirts" very popular in the early sixties.



I have seen custom versions that go all the way from the door to the bumper. If you think about it, why not? Why cover up JUST the wheel well and leave a seam around it? Run the panel from door to bumper and all you have is the seam at the top of the skirt. Now, with the cars of yesterday you had a chrome moulding running down the side that you could use to hide the upper edge of your skirt.
