LOL... this is usually how I acquire stuff.
I just bought a couple lawn mowers (for parts) and ended up with 16 batteries (worth $4 each, cores), about 200 lbs of clean aluminum, a couple complete transmissions, and a bunch of random steel, as well as 200+ feet of 8/2 wire already inside a 1" black underground plastic casing.
"Get it out of here..."
