I have the last year of Toyota truck before the Tacoma. I only get 27. Only mod so far is alternator field switch. This is a switch that forces the alternator to free wheel when I go up hill or need to make that quick left turn. I then turn the alternator back on going down hill or when coasting to stop.
First ecomodding on a truck is to make sure you have an electric fan instead of a belt driven fan. Helps with warm up and engine load. Get a fan from junk yard and DIY.
