Thanks for the pic Daox! I see what your saying now about the grill block, yeah don't worry about little rocks!
You could check to make sure there is not any air trapped in the cooling system. If the radiator cap isn't the highest point in the system there is usually a plug you can open to release any trapped air. Engine running of course!
