I use flat phone cord a lot, the fuse should be sized to protect the wiring if you are concerned about shorting something out. One amp should be more than sufficient. I've never bothered with a fuse so I can't say for sure, but it is kinda like working without a net I suppose.


re: reset, my saturn has a slanty clear gauge window cover, sometimes it pushes "extra" buttons for me, but usually left + center is tank reset (right + center is "current" reset). Or somehow the middle button is getting mixed into the pressing, i.e. an enclosure issue w/insufficient clearance on the buttons.
