HI I'm from Connecticut and I have a 1973 Volvo 164. I am interested in ecomodding my car, with my goal being 30mpg. This picture of the car is from when I first got it. I have changed the wheels to alloy which dropped 20 pounds from the car. I also disconnected the airconditioner cable as the air conditioner was no longer functioning. I'm going to get this car back on the road soon. The first thing I will do is take out the air conditioner unit completely.
The next thing I want to do is build a front air dam and put some airtabs on the roof. Does anyone have an old car they are modding? I have a huge metal antenna I want to get rid of but how can I replace it with something areodynamic? Has anyone done this? Any modding suggestions?
