Also remember that the CVCC engine design is not normal, the spark plug is on the front of the head, not the top, it's in a "pre-chamber" that gets a rich mix of fuel and the normal combustion chamber gets a very lean mix.
You also have the 1.5L not a 1.3 as the 1.3 cvcc engine was only made for a single year, 1984 and is really hard to find.
when you rebuild the carb make sure to replace the accelerator pump on the back of the carb, that will also make the engine gutless as gas is leaking out instead of squirting in to the intake, I've replaces 3 of these, it takes some clean work space and good lighting to make sure everything goes together correctly but it's well worth it.
Does your crx have an o2 sensor? some did some didn't, not sure what all it did but you might check it to see if it's black with soot.
I suggest checking your timing, changing your spark plugs and running some carb cleaner, make sure the warm air intake vacuum diaphragm is working and that the duct for it is intact, then get back to us on how it's running.
