It will get a carb rebuild kit, timing belt, plugs, cap-and-rotor, and has already had 2 bottles of fuel/carb cleaner, since it had sat for awhile. No fowl gas smell, or symptoms related to it. My dad and I also think the timing belt jumped a notch, which would screw the cam and ignition timing.

Rebuilt a few Q-Jets already, this shouldn't be too hard. Warm air duct is in tact, haven't checked the diaphram, but will this weekend. Didn't notice an o2 sensor under the car, where would it be?

"All I know about music is that not many people ever really hear it. [...] But the man who creates the music is hearing something else, is dealing with the roar rising from the void and imposing order on it as it hits the air. What is evoked in him, then, is of another order, more terrible because it has no words, and triumphant, too, for the same reason. And his triumph, when he triumphs, is ours." -Sonny's Blues
