It's definitely possible to beat 28. I used to own a silver 96 Maxima that I regularly got between 25-30 city! You just have to slow down, calm your nerves and remember:
the guy's in the flow that come flying up behind you all angry or aggressive aren't going to do two things:
1) they aren't going to hit you, and
2) they aren't going to reimburse you the extra money at the end of the week that you saved by slowing it down.
When you start to look at it like that, it becomes easier to just let them fly by and not worry.
Tell ya what, when we get together for a hang-out, drive with me for a bit. I'm not real good but maybe I'll do something we can pick up on.
