Since you're planning an engine swap later, I am guessing you don't want to put in an RV cam in the gasser. New gears should be considered as part of the cost of the engine swap. You will want them to keep the RPM in diesel range.

Air dam. Start with mock up dam and put it on the ground & trim until you don't scrap anymore. Then make a real one that length. If your material is pliable enough to take a few hits & fold back instead of breaking off you can run it a little lower.

You can run Moon Eyes on aluminum wheels. You just need to drill & tap 3 holes per wheel to screw them onto. Several people here have come up with ways to avoid drilling holes into their wheels.

Does the Caprice have the partially cover rear wheels like the Buick did?
