Are the GTi springs lower/stiffer than the OE ones? I wanna lower the car an inch or so... not sure what/how other than aftermarket parts...

I want to see if my 550/450 45mm drop springs will fit on it, first, but I may be interested in buying some parts as I need them, like the interior of that GTi that's rotting away, if it's in good condition.
