An air/fuel gauge can help you set the mixture properly. Narrowbands re cheap but are not as accurate as widebands. A wideband will cost you at least 160$ used on Ebay.
Also, can you set the timing? I am assuming you can, is it set correctly?

I have the factory service manual and am researching how to adjust the idle. problem is... they say I need a propane enrichment kit to adjust idle and mixture properly. (anyone know where to find one)
I will have to try the air/fuel gauge.....
I checked the timing and it is spot on.
