The rotting field GTI is pretty mousey, so you might want to avoid things that can't be cleaned really well. Plus I think the driver's door was left open. I can try to get pics of the interior. Or what's left of it anyway. That car still has springs on it.

I'm not really sure if I'm going to lower the car or not, but I definitely want something stiffer.

I'm trying to get a job with the gas drilling crews, which means if I take the Golf to a job site, it'll need to be able to make it into/out of the field/whatever they're setup in without getting stuck easily. Thankfully, I'll be out for 2 weeks at a time, so it's not like I'm gonna be driving 6 hours each way every day, and I can "afford" to burn a little more fuel, especially considering it's a diesel and will (hopefully) be run on homebrew.
