One thread I notice in all our posts is the fact that we've all become calmer, more serene human beings through our efforts at saving gas. I think once you drive for FE for a while, you start to realize that most people not only aren't on your agenda, they don't even GET your agenda, and are thus going to ruin it. So we must achieve bodhisattva-like consciousness just to maintain sanity!
I will cop to doing some strange lane changes myself, because I use cruise control, and when I come up on a car that is going slower, I am maybe at times a bit optimistic when I duck out into the next lane over so as not to have to lose any momentum. So to echo
LostCause, I evoke my fair share of road rage also, and some of it might even be justified!
