My Jeep is spec-ed for a mid-size filter (same as the SRT-4, I think), as is the same Jeep with the 4.0 I6. With the 4.0, the larger filter (FL1A size, 5.0 Mustang filter) fits just fine, and bumps the oil capacity from about 6 qts to about 6.25 qts. Mine, however, will require relocation to use it, as it would hit one of the upper control arms for my front axle.
