my sube is a non turbo 2.5 automatic. my drive is mostly highway (about 15 miles about 5mile in town) I have been shifting my auto manually at as low an RPM as it will let me. I currently(for the summer) have the 4 wheel drive turned off. I have no traffic to deal with.

My old car a Saturn sc1 I was getting about 40MPG with the same drive.
