I find all kinds of stuff in the trash. We have a large item pickup here thats every other month. We go "shopping" in 2-3 different zones. Last month I found a new in plastic crib mattress, office mat, hp laserjet 1200(jamed,now fixed), kids rocking chair, to car seats, a bike child seat with all hardware(like new), a heavy duty paper shredder(jamed, fixed), antique blanket chest, 2 dozen canning jars, camera tripod, 6" 1/4 drive socket extension, a washing machine($13 to fix). Last year I found a like new craftsman pushmower that had 2 quarts of oil in it, fixed and sold it for $85. I find another that only needed a muffler and sold it for $35. A fridge and matching stove that are now being used in one of my apartments. Bowling pins, balls, grills, recliners, bed frames, etc. Anything you could want, you'll eventually find. I see lots of toys from the 80s that I had when I was a kid. I live, own, and work at the apartment complex so I also see lots of stuff go into our dumpsters here. People are wasteful! I'm picky, I won't pick it up unless its nice or I need it. I also have the dumpster so If I get something thats junk I can toss it.
