So I'm working on a new upgrade. I call it the "supercharger"
Design aim is to charge any pack voltage between 100v and 500v dc at upto 300amps. Currently running from a 415v 3 phase ac supply for tests using electric cooker heater rings. Sadly , they dont last very long at high voltage and current. Rather they glow bright orange before giving a polite fizzzzz and die. Note to self , find better load bank. Anyway I'm having a bit of trouble driving the igbt. Its a rather dated fuji 1mbi600u4d 600a 1200v device and i'm running at 8khz for testing. Its suffering from sever miller effects at turn on. Using a ACNW3190-000E 5amp igbt driver opto and a single 15v dc supply.
The photos taken on the crt scope were across C-E via a differential probe.
Any advice or comments welcome.

Now, Cole, when you shift the gear and that little needle on the ammeter goes into the red and reads 2000 Amps, that's bad.
