Is this stuff stiff enough to be used without backing? Can it be readily used for undertrays, or must you add stiffeners?

Alu. has excellent heat dispersal characteristics, so is very good around heat sources such as exhaust pipes. Could make noise, though.

How about a sandwich panel using this alu. and Coroplast? Do the undertrays with Coroplast, and add alu. sheet where needed as a heat reflector/barrier.

What sort of adhesive could be used for a Coroplast/alu. sandwich panel? Silicone bathtub caulk?
