At some point I'll score the sides of the brim,break them over,down at a 90-degree and re-tape.It will give the sun protection for ears and neck,but with less width.
I really want to mount the whole affair 'above' me on some sort of curved spar.I'd have shade,maximum airflow over the skin,and a wind gust wouldn't put any load on my neck,something I had to be mindful of.
