I am pointing this out for reasons of safety and the ultimate cost.
Such as if one uses fuel economy as the excuse to go for a drive?
If such is the case I use less fuel in a year with my 20 mpg unmodified automobile,
when not driving at all is to this day my best fuel and money saver.
Even at 100 mpg it still costs, an automobile consumes every part of its
20,000 dollar self, not just the fuel.
So if the tires wear prematurely for example, someone has to replace tires half way through... I can buy a LOT of fuel for that $200.
