most blokes at work laugh at my 'grandad' riding but at 112p per litre can't afford to cane it. It takes me an hour to complete the journey but going 70 - 80 it only knocks off around 10 minutes which isn't worth the fuel.
some blokes at work are actually coming around to the idea of eco riding, most don't even check their tyre pressures regulary.
got a smaller sprocket to fit today 47t so will see what that does.

We're in the same boat, other riders don't understand me either and I did the same math about speeds and times with the same result... I can't mod Teresa's gear ratios (she has a belt drive), but we're most probably do it for Ciliegia, it should help FE (she revs 7000 at 100km/h, it should not cause any problem to have a longer transmission with a nice overdrive gear or two)
