I finally finished renovating the recumbent trike that I originally built for my handicapped son a few years ago. There were a few things with the original design that I was unhappy with so I stripped it down and gave it a makeover. It had it's maiden voyage yesterday and seems to work well, although I think that I will need to go to a road bike crankset eventually to get some taller gearing. It may never be regular transportation for him, but he finally has a way to enjoy biking again. I may even borrow it once in a while. It's a lot of fun, very different from a regular bike.
There are a few more pics in an album if anyone is interested.
