It's not the only way.
Another alternative is to use piezo-electric speakers. They can
transform pressure into electricity.
Another alternative might be to compress gas using the travel.
The opposite of a turbo bloff off valve.
When suspension travel is higher (wheel is down), inject gas
into a cylinder. On bump, the gas gets compressed and ejected
in high pressure state.
maybe an alternate aircon.. which would save 6% power..
and increase economy.
