Skinnier tires may have reduced weight/load limit, so keep that in mind when shopping. Make sure you won't be hauling more weight than your new tires can take.
I don't know about your Accord, but my 307 already came with the skinniest OEM tire (195/65R15). But I run 185's in the winter with no problems.
