BUMP!
Wanted to bump this thread because I am wanting to do the same with my 1997 Ranger. I have looked and found some info, but e-mailed the poster in that particular thread and haven't heard back. Maybe not a member anymore? I drive about 120mi. a day for work and want to get as much MPG as I resonably can. This sounds like a viable option, but not being a mechanic (just an electrician) I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
