Yes, if I did the one way bearing/sprag clutch I would lose all regen. I think I'm going to set the motor to the original 6k=7.5k rpm and see how it performs, then worry about giving it more gearing if need be.

Also, didn't have any luck finding the steel I needed today. Will have to try again tomorrow. I also am going to try to make the next plate without removing my power steering pulley. Which, while annoying, shouldn't be impossible.

However, I DID get the fuse/contactor/throttle in, so now I have all the parts ready except for the batteries. And I've also driven 20 miles with that bracket in place without issue (as expected, but it's always good to test as I go)
