I was hoping to do a full belly pan at some point, but I am putting all my efforts into my CarBEN open source EV concept car...

One thing that I did to help keep the temps more normal is to block up the vent out of the plenum in front of the radiator, in the "chin" area. Once you reduce the volume of air going into the grills, then you need to cover those vents, to force more/all of the air through the radiator.
