It took a few early fill-ups to calibrate the SG2, but the first month I had the Escape,
I noticed flat road driving at 40mph=40mpg.
The old 1999 CRV 2L 5 speed-manual used to go into fuel-cut-off quicker, but this Ford
with it's 2.5L & 6 speed-auto can get better MPG in the city and much better highway MPG.
I've had this car about 13 months now and have burned about 100 gallons of gas.
So, I've been to the gas station about 12-15 times.
I think one way to save, is not to drive over to the next town, because they
have cheaper gas.. (My wife loves a
bargain)..
