I just wanted to chime in as well. So far my wear on my tires is VERY slight, and given my medical situation, I often do not drive my car, it mainly sits. So I have less than 9.000 on my 2009 Cobalt XFE. However I have the brand of tire sold with the Chevy, and already I felt the need to rotate the tires in the X method, and before I make it to ten thousand I will likely rotate them one more time before winter sits in. I have many steep curvy roads in the mountains here which causes almost all types of tires to wear on the front. By frequent rotation I believe these tires will safely take me well past 35,000 miles at the current rate of wear, which is almost none at all. Gosh when I was young I burned up a brand new set of Good Year Eagle GTs at 10,000 miles- the tread was FLAT!! I replaced that with a much harder compound as 10,000 miles for 4 expensive tires were not in my budget.
