No, if the gearing is too "high", we'll switch to 33s. The previous owner had 33s, but put the 31s on it before we bought it. The 35s were free, so no real loss of they don't work out.
Lower number gearing is actually higher and vice versa. With bigger tires, using numerically higher gearing will bring it back to more stock like driving. If I keep the 35s, I'd be better off with 4.88 or even 5.29 gearing.
