The more I think about it, the more I want to go for a two bolt system and one push pin. (push pin will double as a potential pivot).
I'm going to start working on this tomorrow. I'm definately going for fiberglass on this part. Finding large sheet metal squares comes with a price tag. I might consider it IF I large enough pieces available.
I'll post up pictures tomorrow, right now I'm headed for bed.
