14t idler sprocket turned up today so i went ahead and turned a piece of 25mm steel round stock to make a mounting. Drilled through 8mm and tapped an m8 hole in the plate to mount. Ran the bottom motor on its own no prob. Then went for series mode

. Ran a bit slower obviously (just 12v) but also fine.

Now, Cole, when you shift the gear and that little needle on the ammeter goes into the red and reads 2000 Amps, that's bad.
