I wouldn't be too worried about the idle RPM, the only purpose of the idle is to keep the engine turning over so that you dont have to restart the car every time you stop.

The speed of idle changes the amount of lubrication and heat generated however 50 rpm is not worth worrying about
I changed my idle to be as low as it could be without stalling and my car is running fine for many months (its probably not getting well lubricated though).
So i figure as long as your car doesn't stall at idle and the idle isn't so high that you are using lots of fuel then its probably ok.
