But seems like i will be a absent from here because i am working in flood affected areas here in my country. we had the worst floods of our history and a very large number of my country folks are in a very bad shape. i'll try to keep in touch with forum. i'll appreciate your reply to my question as i have a uncut wirng harness with two selonids connected to it so it is a P2J. all i want to know is how to tell if it is for CVT or Manual????

If you have a cvt transmission, you need to get the p2j-j62 or j61 ecu. The manual will not operate cvt and you will otherwise need to do an auto/cvt to manual transmission conversion. If you do have to pj2-003 ecus on hand, sell them on ebay or something and make some money off of them. They are extremely rare. Or be generous and swap with someone (plus cash) for the cvt ecu.
