What is your normal commute like?
If your stop/go 35mph or less then work on lowering the weight. If your driving 60+ on the freeway then work on the aero (grill block, pizza pans, under body etc).
Depending on the car/engine/tires above 40 or so you spend more gas pushing your vehicle throught the air. Lower then 40mph you spend more gas turning the tires on the road which is proportional to rolling resisitance and total weight.
My commute is 23 lights in 5.5miles. Needless to say my commute average is 22 mph. So I'm keep shaving weight - 203lbs removed so far. (Now if only I could lose 15 - lol)
