Sadly, I'm afraid you are right....most people do not use their trucks to carry any more than their car. I am glad I am not one of them. I load my truck with firewood, bricks, lumber, etc... to the order of 3,000-6,000 lbs. That is why I have my truck....to use it. Some people just want the biggest thing they can drive down the road. Another sad fact i that most trucks now are automatics.....
