Not just colour. Size, shape and pin count are the same plus I think you have the same engine as me (130 PD TDI ?).
My (sometimes naked at the front window) 70 year old neighbour had a 1.9 130 Audi A6 Auto a while back and the engine was identical, the SG worked on theirs. Hard to work out the year as they had a private plate and are usually drunk - hence the nakedness.
