My 2007 Mustang V-6 with the 5-speed "bolt action" should get between 17 (city) and 25 (highway), according to EPA's 2008 revised estimates. I had to start it in my garage to charge the battery a couple of times during the winter of '07-'08 to get a fill under 25 MPG. Since I found ecomodder.com, the only time I get less than 29 MPG on a fill is on road trips. And I haven't gotten through a tank yet without "putting 100% spurs to it" or squealing the tires at least once.
Maybe some aero mods will help my highway MPG.
Fuel log.
