The funny thing for me is, I own a Tempo and a lot of the stuff they poke fun at is exactly why I enjoy the Tempo. It's dove grey (not quite white, not quite not white).. blue interior, zero flash, no logos, completely forgettable. "what kind of car was that? uhh... some... grey sedan.. "
I don't need or want to be noticed, I do in fact just want to get from A to B as uneventfully and forgettably as possible. The exciting stuff in my life is people i share life with, myself and what i'm doing, not what material possessions i'm seen with. The car's just a utility, like a toaster or lawn mower.
