Got new tires! Setting new records!

Replaced my oem Goodyear Integrity tires after 47k miles on my '08 Cobalt XFE with a set of 195/65 R15 Michelin Energy Saver A/S.

On my first set of tires I only once got 60 mpg on my way to work.
I have had the new tires on for 2 weeks now and both today and yesterday I got over 60 mpg on the way to work.

Temps were 73F and 69F so not really that hot.
I do get better mileage on the way to work then on the way home but that's because by the time I leave for home temps have dropped. Last night temps were 58F on the way home.

Still ended up with a round trip average of 58.2 mpg which is frickin awesome for a Cobalt.

Best part is I havn't even pumped them up yet. I'm running them at 34 psi now and will be adding 3 psi per fillup. I wanted to give them a chance to break in a bit before putting them near sidewall max.

Can't wait to see what I get come next summer.
