I know this is kind of an old thread, but I'm hoping to get the information I need.
I have installed a mpguino in my 88 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 5 speed, and I am getting the injector signal, but having a hard time getting the proper setting, but this is the first day, so it will probably take a while.
The issue that I am having is that I installed one of those hall sensors, but I am not getting a signal from it, at least the mpguino is showing no change in mph. Currently I am using weights on the drive shaft for the 'lump of metal', but it does not seem to work, I don't know if I wired it wrong, or if the sensor is bad, but I do know that the mpguino shows no change when I wave a piece of metal in front of the sensor.
The way I have it wired is the red wire to 12v, the black/white wire to mpguino, and the black wire to ground.
Hopefully one of you guys may be able to help me.
Thanks in advance
