Being a 2-stage turbo this thing has really good potential for FE because that significant amount of torque (i'm comparing it with similar European cars, not American) kicks in at unusually low revs for a gasoline engine ~ 1900-2000rpm. Which probably means a decent 40-50mph in high-gear at 2000rpm.

It is not underpowered, again, comparing it w/ similar size EU vehicles. If they bring it over soon I'll definitely sign-up for a test drive and see how it feels.
Assume you mean that the pistons reach tdc at the same time. Very much doubt that they fire at the same time as that would require one heck of a flywheel.
