Hey Phil, what's your opinion on adding some small trip strips along the sides of the tail where it has excessive curvature ? I'm guessing that due to the excess curvature on the sides, the flow is separating and going turbulent. If trip strips were added, it would keep the flow nice and tidy, but by still leaving the tail the length that it is, much of the wake could be filled in.
